Joel Embiid is feeling good about where he’s at.

The Philadelphia 76ers star has been through a lot over the past two years, dealing with many setbacks, including two knee injuries, which required surgery.

Friday night’s game between the Sixers and the Orlando Magic marked the 19th appearance of the season for Embiid. He tied his total games played last year.

After the matchup, Embiid was feeling good enough to take to Instagram to have fun with the fact that he threw down a dunk in Orlando.

After a 39-game run in 2023-2024, Embiid couldn’t find consistency with his health last year. He missed long stretches at times, and eventually, cut his season short in order to get a second surgery.

The Sixers have remained careful with Embiid throughout the 2025-2026 season. He started the year on the court, but had a stretch of absences throughout November.

Since he returned in late November, Embiid has only missed a handful of games. He’s currently in the midst of a six-game healthy streak.

During that stretch, Embiid is making 51 percent of his shots from the field. He is posting averages of 27.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.2 blocks.

The Sixers are 5-1 during their current stretch. Overall, they have a 21-15 record on the year after taking down the Orlando Magic with a 103-91 win on Friday. The Sixers will be back on the court on Sunday to take on the Toronto Raptors
