The Philadelphia 76ers suffered arguably their worst loss of the season at the hands of the Charlotte Hornets on Monday afternoon. The Sixers were outclassed from the opening jump, and the game was never really competitive. They ended up losing by 37 points, 130-93, and the game didn’t even feel that close.
It was just one game though, and the Sixers won’t have long to dwell on it, as they’ll be back in action on Tuesday night to host the Milwaukee Bucks in South Philadelphia.
Joel Embiid should be available against Bucks on Tuesday night
Star center Joel Embiid didn’t play in the game against Charlotte given that it was the front end of a back-to-back, which brings us to his status for the game against Milwaukee.
The Sixers haven’t released an official injury report for the game yet, but Embiid should be good to go since his distinction against Charlotte was injury management, as opposed to any kind of new issue popping up.
Embiid hasn’t been playing in both nights of back-to-backs all season, so it seems like the team decided to rest him on the front end as opposed to the back end of the b2b this time around.
On the season, Embiid is averaging 25.1 points, 7.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 blocks per performance.
