Star center Joel Embiid continues to etch his name in the history books in Philadelphia, as the big man recently passed a former All-Star on an all-time franchise list.
With his production this month, Embiid officially passed Theo Ratliff and now has the fourth-most blocks in Sixers franchise history.
Joel Embiid has the fourth-most blocks in 76ers history
Ratliff had 757 blocks in a Sixers uniform. Embiid now has 761, and counting. Now, the only players with more blocks than Embiid in franchise history are Julius Erving (1,293), Samuel Dalembert (1,131) and Caldwell Jones (926).
Haven't seen this reported anywhere else, but Joel Embiid has officially passed Theo Ratliff (757) and now has the 4th-most blocks in #Sixers franchise history.

Embiid has averaged 1.6 blocks per game over the course of his career. Ratliff averaged 2.9 swats per performance during his tenure with the Sixers.
Ratliff played five seasons in Philadelphia, and he was named an All-Star in 2001 before ultimately being traded for Dikembe Mutombo before the deadline that same season.
In addition to being fourth in blocks in Sixers history, Embiid is also seventh in points and eighth in rebounds. Plus, he's not done producing. Embiid still has three years remaining on his current contract, so he could find himself much higher on all of those franchise lists when all is said and done.
