The Philadelphia 76ers couldn't possibly have imagined this Joel Embiid career revival.
The oft-injured center looked just about washed up at the start of this season.
Now?
Embiid looks like an All Star again.
He has played in six consecutive regular season games for the first time in multiple years, with local reporter Eliot Shorr-Parks writing on X, "What’s happening w/Embiid is one of the biggest medical miracles I can remember in Philly sports."
Those six games have been a great level of productivity, too:
- 12/30: 34 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists
- 1/1: 22 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists
- 1/3: 26 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists
- 1/5: 32 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists
- 1/7: 28 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists
- 1/9: 22 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists

Embiid has also recorded seven blocks across those six games.
He has played at least 25 minutes in all the games, and more than 30 in five of the six.
Embiid's 3-point shooting hasn't been good in this stretch, but other than that, he's been phenomenal. The 76ers have won five of the six games, including one in overtime.
The 76ers will want to cross their fingers here. What are the odds of this keeping up? But for right now, it's a brilliant thing to watch.
