The Philadelphia 76ers are preparing for their final preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, and a new addition to the club may be suiting up.
According to Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Sixers signed former first-round pick MarJon Beauchamp to an Exhibit 10 contract on Tuesday. While all three of the 76ers’ two-way slots are currently occupied, the 25-year-old's pact can be converted into a two-way deal or standard contract ahead of the regular season.
However, the 76ers will also retain his G League rights if he's waived. With that in mind, it appears more likely that he'll begin the 2025-26 campaign with the organization's G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats.

Beauchamp was selected 24th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2022 Draft. He appeared in a career-high 52 regular-season games in his rookie season, during which he averaged 5.1 points and 2.2 rebounds while shooting 39.5 percent from the field across 13.5 minutes per game.
However, he saw a steady decline in playing time over the past two seasons and was ultimately traded to the Los Angeles Clippers in exchange for Kevin Porter Jr. on Feb. 6. He appeared in just three games for the Clippers before being waived and subsequently signing a two-way deal with the New York Knicks.
After the Knicks opted not to extend Beauchamp a qualifying offer this offseason, he signed a non-guaranteed deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, who waived him on Oct. 7. Now, he'll look to impress the 76ers in hopes of sticking around for the regular season.
