Franz Wagner and the Orlando Magic were playing a marquee matchup against the New York Knicks on Sunday afternoon.
And then Wagner went down with a nasty-looking injury.
It's the kind of injury that could change everything for the Magic this season. They just got Paolo Banchero back from injury earlier this week. If Wagner has to miss time, that takes away their big three (with Desmond Bane) and forces Orlando to again figure out how to play with one of its best players on the sideline.

Franz Wagner injury update
Wagner has already been ruled out by the Magic, not long after getting hurt.
He was injured on a lob attempt. As Wagner landed, his left leg got extended in an uncomfortable direction.
Scary Franz Wagner injury.

The Magic said Franz Wagner suffered a lower left leg injury and he is out for the remainder of the game. He will be re-evaluated upon the team’s return to Orlando. Pic.twitter.com/jkisEhwJjR
This season, Wagner has averaged 23.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, all better than his career averages. His shooting percentage from the floor and from 3-point range has also exceeded his career marks, too.
Wagner has been great. The Magic will just hope he isn't out for too long.
