Not many professional sports teams, let alone NBA squads, are set up better for the future than the Oklahoma City Thunder.
From a stockpile of rights to future draft picks that would make any rebuilding team jealous, to a current roster full of blossoming young stars and role players, the Thunder are expected to compete for championships for years to come. While nothing is ever guaranteed in the NBA, it's hard not to envision Oklahoma City enjoying plenty of success in the near future after already winning the 2025 NBA title.
A big reason for that optimism is the core of Thunder players that are under the age of 27. Both of the team's 2025 All-Stars can be considered young by NBA standards, and they're just the headliners of a deep unit of outstanding young players.

Thunder roster age
The Thunder have just two players in their 30s on their entire roster: Alex Caruso (31) and Kenrich Williams (30). Nine of their 18 rostered players are under the age of 25, and another seven are under the age of 28.

As Oklahoma City secured the 2025 title, that still rang true, with those 1977 Blazers being the only team that was younger and won a championship.
