Former first-round pick Nikola Topic is working out again with the Oklahoma City Thunder, nearly two months after a shocking testicular cancer diagnosis.

However, Topic's highly-anticipated regular-season debut with the Thunder will have to wait.

While there remains no timetable for Topic to return as he undergoes cancer treatment, the 20-year-old suited up for pregame warmups before the Thunder took down the Los Angeles Clippers, 122-101, on Thursday night.

Topic, selected 12th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft, missed all of the 2024-25 season after he suffered a torn ACL one month before the draft.

On Oct. 6, he underwent a testicular procedure that confirmed a cancer diagnosis, and Thunder general manager Sam Presti said the franchise was not going to put any "time length or expectations" on his recovery process.

Topic's first workout in front of media though looks like a great sign for his long-term outlook in OKC -- and that 2026 will see him make his long-awaited NBA debut.
