The Oklahoma City Thunder appear to be shopping one of their young players.
Former lottery pick Ousmane Dieng has been mentioned in trade discussions, per Forbes' Evan Sidery.
"The Thunder are gauging the trade market on former lottery pick Ousmane Dieng," Sidery said.
Dieng was selected No. 11 overall by the Thunder in the 2022 NBA Draft. He played in less than 40 games in each of his first three seasons and only made two starts.
Dieng, who's in his fourth season, has missed the past five games with a calf strain. He's averaged 4.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 17 games this season.

OKC did not extend Dieng's contract at October's rookie extension deadline. He's set to be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
"Oklahoma City will shop Dieng’s $6.6 million expiring contract alongside a future first-round pick to add a veteran piece," he said.
Dieng hasn't found a consistent role on one of the deepest rosters in the league. He's behind several proven veterans on the depth chart. The Thunder, which have the league's best record, likely won't be able to provide him the developmental minutes he needs.
He could be an intriguing trade option for a young team. He's still 22 years old and may benefit from a fresh start. The Washington Wizards, Brooklyn Nets and Charlotte Hornets could be potential landing spots that make sense for him.
"Only 22-years-old, Dieng could become an upside play for a rebuilding team."

He's averaged 4.3 points, 2.1 rebounds and shot 31% from three in his career.
