After weeks of waiting and not knowing when the league would announce the winner of the MVP this season, we have an answer.

When will the 24-25 NBA MVP be announced?
Tonight, the Knicks and Pacers will clash in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals which will be broadcasted on TNT.
The TNT pregame coverage will start at 7:00 PM EST, and at some point during the pregame show we will here the winner of the most desirable award revealed.
Many have been waiting for this moment for a long time, and we will finally find out whether or not Jokic will take home his fourth MVP or if Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will win his first.

Jokic winning a fourth would make him one of six players to win four or more MVPS, alongside names like LeBron James, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
SGA winning his first MVP would be the third time a Thunder player wins the award and would be the first of what he hopes is not the only time he wins the award.
Of course, Giannis Antetokounmpo is also a nominee for the award this year, but it is expected to be a two-man race between Jokic and Gilgeous-Alexander.
