NBA Finals record for points in a game

Elgin Baylor has the record for most points scored in an NBA Final Game with 61. Baylor is one of seven players to cross the 50-point plateau in a Finals game, with Giannis Antetokounmpo being the most recent player to do so in 2021.

NBA Finals record for rebounds in a game

Bill Russell set an NBA Finals record with 40 rebounds, something he did in the 1960 and 1962 Finals. Russell and Wilt Chamberlain have combined for the 23 of the 24 best rebounding games in Finals history. Nate Thurmond is the only other player to pull down 30 or more boards in the Finals.

NBA Finals record for assists in a game

Magic Johnson holds the NBA Finals record for assists with 21, set in the 1984 Finals. Johnson is the only player in NBA history to dish out 20 or more dimes in the Finals, something he did on three occasions.

Robert Horry holds the NBA Finals record for most steals in a single game with seven, matching his total number of championships. Seven other players are tied for second place with six steals in a game, with Kevin Love doing it most recently.

It may not come as much of a surprise that Stephen Curry holds the record for most made 3s in an NBA Finals game with nine. He's also drained seven 3s in six different NBA Finals games, two of which were during the team's run to the 2022 title.
