The Thunder bounced back in a big-time way on Sunday.

After dropping Game 1 of the 2025 NBA Finals thanks to a Tyrese Haliburton game-winner, Oklahoma City came out in Game 2 and handled the Pacers with far less drama. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was outstanding once again, posting 34 points, while four other Thunder players totaled at least 15.

In the second quarter of Sunday's matchup, what initially appeared to be a neck-and-neck game became a Thunder rout. Indiana took better care of the basketball than it did in Game 1, but with the Thunder getting whatever they wanted offensively, it didn't matter. An 18-point halftime lead for OKC didn't become another massive Pacers playoff comeback despite strong second-half efforts from Tyrese Haliburton (17 points, six assists) and Myles Turner (16 points).

Even with seven different Pacers scoring double-digit points, Indiana didn't have quite enough magic to take a 2-0 series lead after Haliburton's Game 1 heroics. Instead, players up and down the Thunder roster, from Chet Holmgren (15 points, six rebounds) to Aaron Wiggins (18 points) stepped up to the pressure at home.

Now, the series will head to Indiana for Wednesday's Game 3. On one hand, the Pacers should almost surely be satisfied with stealing one of two road games from a dominant Thunder squad. But on the other, Oklahoma City has been the better team for a large majority of the 96 total Finals minutes thus far, and Gilgeous-Alexander, averaging 36 points per game in the series, is the early favorite for another MVP award.

The Sporting News tracked live updates and highlights as the Thunder took down the Pacers in Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday. Here's what you may have missed.

Pacers vs. Thunder highlights from Game 2 of 2025 NBA Finals

All times ET.

Final: Thunder 123, Pacers 107

10:33 p.m. — That's it. The Thunder close out a statement win at home, using 15-plus points from five different players to glide to a relatively sweat-free win. SGA led the way with 34 points, becoming the early Finals MVP favorite with 72 points in two games so far. Indiana went on a few runs in the second half, but none of them were big enough to threaten the Thunder.

10:30 p.m. — Gilgeous-Alexander connects on an and-one bucket, then Caruso makes a 3-pointer to put the finishing touches on what will soon be a Game 2 victory for OKC. Now up by 19 with a few minutes left, the Pacers starters have gone to the bench. The NBA Finals will be tied at one game apiece as it heads to Indiana.

10:25 p.m. — Tyrese Haliburton's 3-pointer with around four minutes left cuts it to 111-94 in favor of the Thunder. He's got 17 points now, but it appears to be too little, too late for the Pacers.

10:20 p.m. — Aaron Wiggins is on fire. He's got 17 points off the bench, including five 3-pointers, making him one of five Thunder players in double-digit scoring.

10:15 p.m. — Haliburton and the Pacers are heating up offensively, but it's been for naught. OKC still leads by 20 with around eight minutes remaining.

10:10 p.m. — Throw it down, Myles Turner!

End of third quarter: Thunder 93, Pacers 74

10:00 p.m. — At the end of the third quarter, Game 2 is all OKC. It's a 19-point lead for the Thunder, even without the dominant turnover numbers they posted in Game 1. Gilgeous-Alexander is at 27 points, while Chet Homgren, Jalen Williams and Alex Caruso all have 15. Tyrese Haliburton has just five points.

9:49 p.m. — OKC's "Big Three" of Gilgeous-Alexander, Williams and Holmgren has a combined 48 points tonight. The Pacers have had plenty of comebacks these playoffs, but the more time that passes, the more likely it appears that the Thunder are coasting to a Game 2 win. It's an 18-point advantage.

9:42 p.m. — The Thunder have answered the Pacers' third-quarter run, making it a 16-point lead once again. Alex Caruso now has 13 points, which trails only Gilgeous-Alexander's 21 on the Thunder.

9:31 p.m. — Myles Turner has eight quick points in the third quarter alone, three of which came from the free-throw line. The big man is doing his best to get Indiana back within single-digits.

9:27 p.m. — The third quarter is underway, with Indiana needing a run to get back in Game 2.

Halftime: Thunder 59, Pacers 41

9:08 p.m. — At the break, Oklahoma City is in command. The Thunder exploded in the second quarter, which they won 33-21, and they've gotten strong performances from a variety of players. Gilgeous-Alexander leads the way with 15 points, but Holmgren (11), Williams (9), Wiggins (8) and Caruso (8) are all right behind him.

As for Indiana, Tyrese Haliburton has struggled, shooting 1-for-5 from the floor with three points. Siakam leads the way with nine points, but the Pacers are 7-of-22 from deep as a team. However, they did get a 10-0 run in shortly before halftime.

9:07 p.m. — As the first half winds to a close, no Pacers player has reached double-digit scoring yet. OKC has dominated the second quarter.

9:04 p.m. — Aaron Wiggins with a nasty step-back over Tyrese Haliburton:

8:55 p.m. — Oklahoma City is on a 20-9 run in the second quarter. Back-to-back SGA buckets have the Thunder rolling.

8:49 p.m. — Make it a 15-point Oklahoma City lead. Williams is now up to seven points, while a Holmgren slam moves the big man to 11. Even with Gilgeous-Alexander slowing down after a hot start, the Thunder are in control.

8:41 p.m. — OKC briefly extended its advantage to 10 early in the second quarter. While the Pacers have shown no lead is safe against them, it's been a good start for the Thunder. Jalen Williams hit an and-one, then another jumper to make it 35-27.

8:37 p.m. — A notable stat that helps put Gilgeous-Alexander's outstanding 2024-25 season into perspective:

End of first quarter: Thunder 26, Pacers 20

8:35 p.m. — The fifth quarter of the 2025 Finals comes to an end with the Thunder reclaiming the momentum. Holmgren is up to nine points after a layup to end the frame, leading OKC. Indiana is having a better start than it did on Thursday but still trails by six.

8:32 p.m. — After a quiet Game 1, Chet Holmgren is having a nice start. The big man swatted a layup attempt from Toppin, then nailed a three soon after to reach seven early points.

8:24 p.m. — The Pacers tie it at 17 in the first quarter with an Obi Toppin three.

8:21 p.m. — It's been a much quicker start for Indiana compared to Game 1, when it didn't take the lead until the final second. But the Thunder still lead 16-11, with SGA leading the charge thus far.

8:16 p.m. — After widespread online complaints about the lack of Finals signage on the court during Game 1, ESPN has added digital Larry O'Brien trophies to the court for Game 2.

8:11 p.m. — Offenses are hot in the first quarter. Through five minutes, Andrew Nembhard has five of Indiana's 10 points, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has five of Oklahoma City's 12 points.

8:08 p.m. — They're underway in Oklahoma City. Cason Wallace starts the scoring with a layup, and Pascal Siakam answers with a 3-pointer.

Pregame

8:01 p.m. — Game 2 is about to tip off. Will the Pacers go up 2-0, or will the Thunder knot the series at one game apiece?

7:53 p.m. — Perhaps more interestingly, the Thunder are sticking with the same starters from Game 1, when they went small for the first time this postseason. Isaiah Hartenstein comes off the bench again.

7:52 p.m. — Same starting five for the Pacers, from Haliburton to Myles Turner.

7:06 p.m. — Do these Pacers have more tricks up their sleeves for Game 2?

7:05 p.m. — A few days removed from his heroic Game 1 shot, Tyrese Haliburton has arrived for Game 2.

7:02 p.m. — About an hour until tip off in OKC. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's former college coach, John Calipari, is in the building.
