For years, we will continue to hear the LeBron James-Michael Jordan GOAT debate go on.
The two greats never played one another in the NBA, yet their names will forever be associated together.
On one talk show recently, one of the hosts made a bold claim regarding LeBron and Jordan.
LeBron recently stated that he was confused about why "ring culture" is so relevant in debates, and he doesn't understand why it's always talked about when his name comes up.
Craig Carton of Breakfast Ball felt that this comment was an indirect statement in regards to Michael Jordan, claiming it was LeBron's way of showing that Jordan lives "rent-free" in his head.

Carton thinks that LeBron is also desperate to be in the GOAT conversation because he's making this point despite the fact that he's left multiple teams to try and win a championship elsewhere.
"He makes it so easy for me," Carton said of LeBron. "He's an insufferable narcissist.
"Great player. For my money, a top-10 player of all-time, for sure. You can debate where you want to put him. He's not No. 1. But it's so clear to me — I can't prove this, it's just my take on it — of how Michael Jordan lives rent-free in his head."
Jordan has six rings compared to LeBron's four. He got all six in just as many NBA Finals appearances.
Championships are often used as the main evidence for why a player is better than the other. Carton believes LeBron is trying to diminish the significance of championships to give himself an edge over MJ.
