Jamal Crawford was a smooth, effortless bucket getter in his NBA career.
His son, JJ, looks to have gotten a lot of the same genes.
JJ Crawford made his high school basketball debut on Wednesday night for Rainier Beach in Washington State, and the highlights are impressive.
His pops was on the bench as an assistant coach, too.

The first 3-pointer of Crawford's high school career was pretty key. Renton was putting up a tough fight against the highly touted Rainier Beach squad, but JJ drilled a triple just before half for a 33-26 lead at the intermission.
Rainier Beach went on to win, 81-60.
The most touted name for Rainier Beach isn't the son of the NBA guard, though. It's Tyran Stokes.
Stokes is one of the best recruits in the country and transferred to Rainier Beach only about a month ago.

He scored 31 points in the victory to go along with 14 rebounds and nine assists.
“It was exciting for me,” Stokes told The Seattle Times. “I expected it to be high energy. I expected them to come out playing hard. Every team that I play against, I feel like they are going to come and try to go at me, because I feel like I’ve got a target on my back just because of my name.”
There will certainly be a lot of eyes on Rainier Beach all season long.
