DraftKings King of the Court tips, advice for picks on Nov. 18 image

The weekly DraftKings promotion, King of the Court, is back for another week on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

The NBA has a six-game slate on this night, and as always, the goal is to select a player prop for the individual who leads the evening in combined points plus rebounds plus assists, PRA.

The six games on tap are as follows:

  • Warriors at Magic
  • Celtics at Nets
  • Pistons at Hawks
  • Grizzlies at Spurs
  • Jazz at Lakers
  • Suns at Trail Blazers

And as usual, there's one heavy favorite.

Can anyone beat Luka?

Luka Doncic's Lakers are playing, and without Nikola Jokic or Giannis Antetokounmpo on the slate, that makes Doncic the heavy favorite here.

Doncic is averaging 52.2 PRA on the season.

If LeBron James returns, maybe it saps just a tad from Doncic's output, but maybe not. Austin Reaves is obviously playing well, too, but not to the stat-stuffing level of Luka.

Playing Doncic here is the best way to win KOTC, although if he wins, the bonus bet will be less than if an underdog wins.

The line on Luka to score 32-plus points seems friendly enough. That'd be the logical play here with the opt-in on the promo.

The next tier

There are a few players who at least have a chance to finish atop the night's PRA charts.

Detroit Pistons star Cade Cunningham leads that list. They should have a good night against the Hawks, and Cade enters with a 42.7 PRA average.

For the Magic, Franz Wagner should hold down a bigger role with Paolo Banchero out. And in that same game, Steph Curry is always possible to have a huge scoring output and put himself in the running.

Devin Booker is also in action, and he is known for his occasional big night.

Any deep sleepers?

Michael Porter Jr. Maybe isn't an unknown, but he has put up consecutive seven-assist games, which raises his ceiling in PRA if he happens to have a big scoring night, too.

Desmond Bane may get a lot more shots with Banchero out, but his overall struggles early in the season make him a tough play.

And if you want a wild dart throw, someone on the Spurs will have to step up with Wemby out. De'Aaron Fox probably doesn't get the secondary stats to get there, but could someone like Devin Vassell or Keldon Johnson have a big night against the reeling Grizzlies? Maybe.
