The New York Knicks have continued to find their groove throughout the 2025-26 NBA season.

The team currently sits at 17-7 as the second seed, just two games behind the first-place Detroit Pistons,  while awaiting their against theNBA Cup semi-finals matchup against the Miami Heat.

The team recently picked up a big road win, 117-101 over the Toronto Raptors, powered by Jalen Brunson's 35 points.

Mike Brown on the Knicks Success

Following the win, Knicks head coach Mike Brown spoke to the media about the team's recent string of success.

"We're starting to figure out who we are," Brown told reporters after the game. "Early in the season, we had a lot of injuries during the preseason, so I didn't have a good feel for this team, or as good a feel as I needed to have, and that's part of the reason why we [have struggled] on the road."

The Knicks hired Mike Brown in the offseason after firing Tom Thibodeau, and their new head coach seems to be paying off.

After a very rocky start, the Knicks have emerged as one of the hottest teams in the league. They are the winners of four of their last five matchups, picking up some big wins over prominent teams like the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic in the process and, more importantly, advancing in the NBA Cup.

The team is finding its stride, which bodes well for a Knicks team with real championship aspirations. Their recent winning streak and growing chemistry Give fans plenty of reasons to be optimistic.
