The New York Knicks entered Wednesday night's game looking for their fourth straight win in the midst of a tight battle for seeding in the Eastern Conference.
As it stands, second through fifth place in the conference are only separated by a single game.
Despite being outscored by 10 points in the first quarter, the Knicks stormed back in the second half, outscoring the Raptors 72-41 en route to a 27-point win.
Given the Boston Celtics' loss to the Atlanta Hawks, the Knicks have now moved back into second place, trailing only the Detroit Pistons.
New York had many contributors throughout the night, including Mikal Bridges who scored 30 points on 12-for-15 shooting. Karl-Anthony Towns also outplayed Toronto on the glass, grabbing 22 rebounds. Josh Hart posted an impressive 22 points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals as well.
That said, it was former Raptor OG Anunoby who posted the most impressive stat line against his former team. Anunoby finished with 26 points, five assists, three rebounds, two blocks and six steals.
In doing so, Anunoby became the first Knicks' player since Patrick Ewing to score 25 or more points, block two or more shots and record five or more steals in a single game.
Now, riding a four-game win streak, the Knicks will have Thursday off before returning home to face the Portland Trail Blazers Friday.
Following Friday's game, the Knicks will host Luka Doncic, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday evening.
