Before we get into the embarrassing Mitchell Robinson free throw, let's make this clear.

The New York Knicks wouldn't have won Game 2 against the Celtics without their center.

In 22 minutes, Robinson was a team-high +19 thanks to his dominant defense and offensive rebounding prowess.

But we've got to talk about this foul shot.

The Celtics have been hacking Robinson to get to the bonus for a reason.

There must've been a breeze in there or something.

Robinson is a career 52.2 percent foul shooter. During the regular season, he actually shot 68 percent in a small sample.

But in the Knicks' last three games entering Wednesday, Robinson was 7-for-21 (33%) at the line.

None were worse than this airball.

But Robinson gets the last laugh as the Knicks win again.

Robinson is a career 52.2 percent shooter from the free-throw line in the NBA. He only appeared in 17 games, but he actually had a career year from the charity stripe in the 2024-25 season, knocking down 68.4 percent of his attempts.

So far in the 2025 NBA Playoffs, Robinson is 7-for-26 (26.9 percent) from the free throw line.
