The New York Knicks faced an uphill battle, suffering their third consecutive loss on Friday to the Chicago Bulls

The Knicks fell to the Bulls by a score of 135-125 on Friday, making it their third straight loss after starting the season 2-0 with wins over the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics

Fortunately for The Knicks, it's still early, and they have 77 games remaining to sort things out. Head coach Mike Brown spoke with reporters after the loss to Chicago about how he anticipates his team to bounce back following its sluggish start.

“We've lost 3 in a row. We've hit some adversity early,” Brown said. “I'm interested to see how we respond.”

It was never going to happen overnight for the Knicks, who are undergoing a massive identity shift in Brown’s system compared to that of Tom Thibodeau’s that the Knicks ran for the last five seasons. Building empires takes time, so reacting too strongly to the Knicks' sluggish beginning would be hasty.

On Sunday, New York gets another opportunity to rebound when they face the Bulls. The Knicks are scheduled for seven consecutive home contests before heading to Miami to face the Heat on November. At 17 years old, they'll aim to turn things around during their home stretch.
