The New York Knicks are starting to figure out Mike Brown’s offense, and it’s producing some gaudy results early in the season.
Going from a defensive-minded coach in Tom Thibodeau, to Brown’s fast-paced offense is no easy task for any team, but if the Knicks’ 7-3 record through the first ten games is any indication, they seem to have figured it out.
The team’s latest win featured a dominant 133-120 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies. The win marked the third-consecutive game in which the Knicks scored 130 or more points, the first time they’ve done that in franchise history.
The Knicks also broke a franchise record for three-pointers attempted in the win, attempting 55 threes and knocking down 22 of them. The previous record of 54 was tied earlier this season on Oct. 26 against the Miami Heat.
New York’s offense has officially found its groove, and it’s looking unstoppable. Time will tell if this level of production is sustainable all season. Nonetheless, for a team with title ambitions this season, there isn’t a much better way to get started offensively.
