The New York Knicks are making a push to win the NBA Cup title. Although some may have their own opinions regarding the In-Season Tournament, that hasn’t stopped the Knicks up to this point.
The Knicks are currently in the NBA Cup Quarterfinals, and will go up against the Toronto Raptors with a trip to Las Vegas on the line. New York so far has made it clear that they are looking to earn a trophy, even if it’s midseason.
Forward Josh Hart was asked about his level of competitiveness heading into the NBA Cup Quarterfinals.
“If you're a competitor, you should want to compete every time you step on the court...it's something that we definitely want to win, and we're going to go all-out for it,” Hart said.
Hart himself has been enjoying a strong season, averaging 12.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. He’ll be looking to continue his strong play throughout the back end of the NBA Cup.
At 16-7, the Knicks have gotten off to a strong start, and they’ll have a chance to put a major stamp on that with a NBA Cup crown.
