New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson just did it again.

With the Indiana Pacers leading the Knicks 113-111, Brunson nailed a game-winning 3-pointer to give New York the lead with 5.6 seconds left in the game. Knicks forward OG Anunoby stole a pass on Indiana’s final possession to seal the 114-113 victory.

Brunson led the Knicks with 25 points on 10/23 (43%) shooting, including three makes from long range. He added seven rebounds, seven assists and had a team-high three steals. New York had three guards score in double-figures, including Brunson, Jordan Clarkson (18) and Tyler Kolek (16).

Brunson, who’s in his fourth season with New York, was named NBA Cup MVP after leading the Knicks to an NBA Cup Championship earlier this week. He averaged 33.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists on 53.1% shooting in six Cup games.

He’s averaging 28.7 points per game this season, which ranks seventh in the NBA. He’s shooting 48.4% from the field and 37.6% from deep.

He’s scored 25+ points in seven consecutive games, including a 40-point explosion against the Orlando Magic in the NBA Cup Semifinals.

Brunson has been a catalyst for the Knicks, who are one of the league’s hottest teams. They’ve won seven straight games and 11 of their last 12, dating back to 113-100 win against the Brooklyn Nets on Nov. 24. New York (19-7) is first in the Atlantic Division and second in the Eastern Conference.

Brunson and the Knicks return to the court Friday night against the Philadelphia 76ers.
