The Knicks suffered a heartbreaking series loss to the Pacers that ended Saturday night.

Fans on social media often questioned many of the decisions made by Tom Thibodeau throughout the series and playoffs.

After the loss, his job security was a real question that people had on their minds.

Is Tom Thibodeau safe?

Reports from James L. Edwards III from The Athletic support that Thibs should be safe and won't get fired this offseason.

Thibs reportedly has the backing of team president Leon Rose, as well as their star player Jalen Brunson.

That's significant when it comes to the chances of him returning, but at the end of the day, it's said that owner James Dolan will be the one who makes the final decision.

The Knicks could choose to make some moves this offseason to acquire a big star player like Giannis Antetokounmpo, so a development in a trade such as that could impact whether or not Thibs returns.
