Four-time champion sends a message to KAT after his comments following altercation image

Last Thursday, the Golden State Warriors defeated the struggling New York Knicks by 13 points.

Aside from the result of the game, there was a head-turning moment during the game as Knicks all-star center, Karl Anthony-Towns, got into an altercation with Warriors forward, Draymond Green.

During Green's podcast, 'The Draymond Green Show', the four-time champion recalled the situation between the two players and said that Towns called him a 'front-runner' for trash-talking towards the end of the game, and Green responded to that statement the only way he knows how.

"One thing KAT can't do is call me a front-runner, his voice changes too much to call someone a front-runner, because we don't really know which KAT we're getting in saying that," Green declared.

It's no shock that Green is exchanging verbal jabs with other players, but what does Towns' voice have to do with him believing the former defensive player of the year is a front-runner?

I'm sure Towns is not and won't be the last person to give a negative opinion on Green, so it looks odd on the forward's part, considering he has never pointed out anything physically wrong with a player's appearance or how they talk trash to him.

Not to get things confused, Green has shown in the past that he doesn't fear anyone, including his own teammates, but insulting Towns in this situation doesn't help his case or prove he's a front-runner.

The two won't see each other again until March 15, when the Warriors travel to Madison Square Garden to face the Knicks in a Sunday night matchup.
