Anthony Edwards may not have been a prolific 3-point shooter when he entered the NBA.
But now? The Minnesota Timberwolves' superstar is among the best, even hanging out in one realm with Golden State Warriors legend Stephen Curry.
On Tuesday night, Edwards was 5-for-8 from 3-point range as part of a 26-point night in the Wolves' blowout win over the Miami Heat.
That marked Edwards' 41st game with at least five made 3-pointers since the start of the 2024-25 season.
And those 41 such games are tied for the most in the NBA in that span with Curry, according to Timberwolves PR.
Wolves beat writer Jon Krawczynski summed it up with this post on X:

Edwards' shooting rise has been impressive.
This is his made 3-pointers per game average by season in his career, in chronological order:
- 2.4
- 3.0
- 2.7
- 2.4
- 4.1
- 3.4
Clearly, he began raising his aim last season.
And even with increased attempts the last two years have come increased efficiency. In 2024-25, Edwards shot 39.5% from deep, which was a career best. This season, he's doing even better at 40.7% from downtown.
At this rate, it won't be long at all before Edwards has another game with a handful of triples.
