The Minnesota Timberwolves have been monitoring Anthony Edwards lately.

As the star guard has been dealing with right foot soreness, the Timberwolves listed him as questionable on the injury report for the clash against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday.

Fortunately, the Timberwolves don’t have anything to worry about on the absence front for Edwards. He went through his pregame warmups as usual and was cleared for action.

Although the Timberwolves are keeping a close eye on Edwards, he’s been healthy enough to play. The Timberwolves star appeared in 11-straight games.

During the current stretch, Edwards has been seeing the court for 35.5 minutes per game. He was shooting 51 percent from the field and knocking down 40 percent of his threes, producing 30.2 points per game.

The Timberwolves won eight out of their last 11 games.

Minnesota enters Saturday’s matchup as the fourth seed in the Western Conference. They are currently holding a 25-13 record on the year, having a one-game advantage over the Los Angeles Lakers. As they hold the same record as the Denver Nuggets, the Timberwolves could move up a spot to take the third seed by beating the Cavs.

Saturday’s game marks the second and final meeting between the Cavs and the Timberwolves.

When they played two nights ago, the Cavs came up short with a 131-122 loss. In the matchup, Edwards checked in for 37 minutes. He scored 25 points, coming down with seven rebounds and producing nine assists.

The Cavs and the Timberwolves’ rematch is set for a 1 PM ET tip.
