With Giannis Antetokounmpo being one of the biggest names in the NBA, the idea of the Milwaukee Bucks forward getting traded has put him under a microscope.
Every move or comment Antetokounmpo makes gets the fans talking. And the superstar’s recent interaction with the Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards generated a ton of buzz.
It wasn’t a long conversation, but it was enough to get the imagination going.

@rvpats1212: Cant wait til Giannis joins the Wolves and hoops alongside Anthony Edwards.
@NickBuysCrypto: there was a little too much dap there
@CRan3069: Over the summer, Giannis called Ant is favorite player in the league (along with his former teammate Dame).
@CaptainLeMerica: This duo would be closest duo style to Bron & D wade im shaking
@DripMuse_: This would be like if dame was in his prime when he teamed up with giannis
The Timberwolves and the Bucks met for a Sunday matchup, which didn’t include Antetokounmpo.
Lately, the two-way superstar has been dealing with a calf strain. He’s expected to miss four to six weeks of action. Although he hasn’t been healthy enough to play, Antetokounmpo’s future in Milwaukee has remained a burning topic around the league.
"If my agent is talking to the Bucks about it, he's his own person. He can have any conversation he wants," Antetokounmpo told reporters last week. "At the end of the day, I personally have not had the conversation with the Bucks. I'm still locked in, locked in on my teammates, most importantly locked in on me getting back healthy."
Despite Antetokounmpo publicly shooting down the idea of wanting to get traded, fans remain unconvinced.
@KobeBryant_jr: Hmmm Giannis to the wolves would be insane
@dukethareaper1: ant and giannis as teammates would go crazy
@jowelbryan: Future teammates
Before going down with his latest injury, Antetokounmpo appeared in 17 games this season. He averaged 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists, and nearly one block per game
It was recently reported by NBA insider Chris Haynes that the Timberwolves are among a handful of teams that have expressed interest in Giannis.
However, there hasn’t been any traction behind reports that suggest the interest is mutual. All signs have been pointing to Giannis having his eyes on the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat if he were to get traded. Contrary to the popular belief outside of Milwaukee, Antetokounmpo seems to be willing to see if the Bucks can improve their situation before he demands a move.
