Giannis Antetokounmpo's latest move has Bucks fans thinking a trade request is coming image

Milwaukee Bucks fans woke up Tuesday morning to find that Giannis Antetokounmpo's social media accounts look quite different.

The Greek Freak has deleted all posts on his Instagram and X accounts that have to do with the Bucks, aside from 2021 championship content.

He appears to have also changed his bio on X (formerly Twitter) to two words: "NBA athlete."

It might be time for an uh-oh.

Giannis has, time and again, committed himself to Milwaukee. He's wanted to stick with the Bucks and continue to win as part of the organization that first believed in him back when he was a gangly teenager who was still incredibly raw as a basketball player.

But in each of the past three seasons, the Bucks exited the playoffs in the first round.

And now, they're on their worst run in a long time. Milwaukee has lost eight of its last nine games.

It doesn't even matter that Antetokounmpo has gotten back on the court from injury. The Bucks are still struggling.

They simply don't have enough firepower around Giannis. The Damian Lillard trade a few years ago brought excitement, but in the end didn't change results.

And once Lillard tore his Achilles and was subsequently traded back to Portland, it always looked like an uphill climb. The Myles Turner signing was a solid one, but it wasn't going to be a game-changer.

Players like Ryan Rollins and Kevin Porter Jr. Have emerged, but none of that has given Antetokounmpo even a running mate like he had in Khris Middleton.

There's no trade request yet. Maybe this ship hasn't totally sunk. But those cold winter winds in Milwaukee are swirling with the possibility of change.
