Giannis Antetokounmpo has been the center of trade rumors for a while now, especially since the Milwaukee Bucks are now 11-16 and 10th in the Eastern Conference. However, Giannis himself doesn’t feel so good about the rumors.
According to Chris Haynes, Giannis is uncomfortable with the rumors surrounding him, and most of the rumors that he wants a trade are from his representatives.

“From the conversation I had with him a week ago, he’s not comfortable with all the rumors… he claims it’s not him. Most of these conversations are from his representatives...He told me, ‘Look, I can’t control what the front office decides to do, I can’t control what my representation does.’...If he’s doing everything on the court, and he’s living up to his end, but the team still isn’t up to par, then eventually he will have to say something, either directly to the front office, or publicly,” Haynes said.
So far this season, Giannis is putting up MVP-level numbers once again. He’s averaging 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, 6.1 assists, one steal, and one block per game. And for a team that’s not competing at all, Giannis is wasting his time.

Hopefully, the Bucks find a way to become competitive this season by the trade deadline; otherwise, Giannis may start getting comfortable about addressing trade rumors and adding his own perspective.
