The Milwaukee Bucks have had a disappointing season so far, and it seems their superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo, might be finally at the end of his rope. It might be time for him to finally ask for the thing Milwaukee fans have dreaded the most: a trade.
Antetokounmpo was linked to the New York Knicks last season as a possible trade destination, but they didn’t have the assets to acquire him. However, Fansided’s Christopher Kline believes that it’s still possible, and has Antetokounmpo going to New York.

The trade would look like this:
Knicks get: Giannis Antetokounmpo
Bucks get: Karl-Anthony Towns, Pacôme Dadiet, NYK 2026 first-round pick
“Giannis expressed his desire to join the Knicks last offseason, per ESPN's Shams Charania. The two-time MVP is sure to have leverage over these negotiations, so the Knicks are clear favorites — despite not having the best asset collection…It feels almost unfair to just gift the Knicks the second-best player in the world, but such are the advantages of being centrally located in New York City,” Kline wrote.

So far this season, Antetokounmpo is averaging 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, 6.1 assists, one steal, and one block per game. Combine that with the Knicks’ main star, Jalen Brunson, and New York’s inside and outside game is something to be feared.
Hopefully, the Bucks find a way to keep Antetokounmpo, although it seems unlikely. If they can’t, they need to make sure they get the most in return for him.
