In the midst of a three-game losing streak, the Miami Heat go up against one of the hottest teams in the NBA, the Phoenix Suns, on Tuesday night.
Phoenix has won eight of its last 10, while Miami has dropped four of its last five.
Heading into the matchup, both teams are facing injuries. However, the Heat have a lot more questions to be answered on their roster.
Norman Powell (back) listed as questionable, Tyler Herro (toe, rib) is available for Tuesday's matchup against the Suns
In the NBA's latest injury report, the Miami Heat listed Tyler Herro (toe, rib) and Pelle Larsson (finger) as players who will be available for the Heat on Jan. 13 against the Phoenix Suns.
Norman Powell, 32, missed the Heat's 124-112 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night. Miami listed the veteran as questionable while he continues to recover from lower back tightness.
The Suns have just three players listed on their report.
Jamaree Bouyea (concussion) and Jalen Green (hamstring) are both listed as out, but Jordan Goodwin (jaw) will be available and is wearing a mask while dealing with his setback.
Both teams are very much in the playoff race this season.
The Heat currently sit at the No. 8 seed in the East, but are 1.5 games behind the Orlando Magic for the final playoff spot.
Meanwhile, the Suns are surging up the standings in the West as they took the Houston Rockets' (22-14) spot in the West for the final playoff spot.
