The Miami Heat (23-21) are searching for back-to-back wins for the first time since the start of the new year as they take on the Portland Trail Blazers (22-22) on Thursday.

In a matchup that is the third of a five-game road trip for Miami, the team hasn't been able to catch a consistent stride as of late. The Heat are 4-6 over their last 10.

The injury report for the team reveals injury updates to Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, and others.

Tyler Herro (ribs) is listed as out, Kel'el Ware (hamstring) is questionable for Jan. 22 vs. Trail Blazers

The NBA's latest injury report reveals that the Heat will be without 2024-25 All-Star Tyler Herro (ribs) for Thursday's matchup. It will be his fourth-straight missed game.

Herro, 26, has been battling multiple injuries throughout this season that have limited him to playing in just 11 games in 2025-26.

Kel'el Ware (hamstring) is listed as questionable.

The injury to Miami's leader in rebounds per game this season (9.8) has been dealing with a setback over the past few games. It resulted in him missing his first game of the season in the Heat's win over the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.

On the better side of things, Jaime Jaquez Jr. (Knee), Nikola Jovic (illness), Pelle Larsson (finger), and Davion Mitchell (shoulder) will all be available for the contest.
