It is increasingly obvious that Ja Morant's future is not going to be with the Memphis Grizzlies, who once made Morant the #2 pick in the NBA Draft.

Now, we know just how Morant feels about this trade saga as it unfolds.

Yahoo Sports' Kelly Iko reported Wednesday that Morant is "deeply disappointed" at the Grizzlies' decision to move on from him, a choice that became public knowledge last Friday. Speaking to reporters from Berlin, where the Grizzlies will play the Orlando Magic on Thursday, Morant offered up a three-word response when queried about the ongoing trade rumors.

"Live with it," he said.

With his future in Memphis all but decided, Morant and his entourage are focused on joining the Miami Heat in the coming weeks, as the NBA barrels toward the Feb. 5 trade deadline.

Iko reports that Morant is seduced by Miami's reputation as a "detail-oriented and structured organization." The two-time All-Star reportedly also wants to work with Heat coach Erik Spoelstra -- who, as it happens, will coach the United States men's basketball team at the 2028 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

With Morant's preference becoming clear, all that's left is for the Grizzlies and the Heat to find common ground in trade talks for one of this season's blockbuster deals to become a reality.
