The Memphis Grizzlies have a player on their Summer League roster who has played one NBA game ever, and that was March 23, 2021.

But that 6-foot-10 center, Will Magnay, apparently has a legit chance to play for the Grizzlies this season.

ESPN's Olgun Uluc reports that Memphis is giving real consideration to having Magnay on their roster in some capacity for the regular season.

He is still eligible for a two-way contract, so maybe that's what it'll end up being.

Magnay's lone NBA game came for New Orleans, and he played just three minutes. He was an undrafted free agent out of Tulsa.

Last season in Australia's National Basketball League, Magnay played in 13 games for the Tasmania JackJumpers. He averaged 13.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 blocks per game.

He also played 10 appearances in Turkey for Mersin MSK, where he played limited minutes and averaged 5.1 points, 3.6 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks per game.

It'll be a key Summer League for Magnay. Seems like if he performs well, he'll earn an NBA roster spot.

If not, it's tough to know whether Magnay will still get a chance at this improbable opportunity to stick around.
