Max Kellerman mostly disappeared from the sports public's consciousness for a few years.

But the former ESPN take artist is back, and he's telling it his way, no matter how outlandish it may seem.

His latest take: The Lakers should trade Luka Doncic.

Yes, he wants the Lakers to trade the generational superstar that they acquired in a totally one-sided deal last February from the Dallas Mavericks.

Kellerman is essentially echoing everything the Mavs tried to say when they traded Luka away.

And the craziest part might be that Kellerman is doing this while on his podcast with LeBron James' agent, Rich Paul.

Anyway, this is what he said: “If you wanna win a championship, I believe that your best player needs to at least play team defense… Luka and Austin (Reaves) are redundant. I can get x for Austin. I can get 3x for Luka.”

Reaves' name has surfaced in trade rumors (some of them started by Kellerman and Paul). It's not clear whether the Lakers would actually trade either of these perimeter superstars.

But Kellerman's point is that if you're going to trade one, why not trade the one that will fetch the largest return?

The Doncic hate is pretty wild.

He carried a Mavs team on his back to the NBA Finals less than 12 months before he was shipped away for five cents on a dollar.

He's clearly been one of the few best players in the league this entire season.

There's zero universe where the Lakers would trade him away, nor should they.

But hey, Kellerman has gotten the attention he wanted.
