The Los Angeles Lakers will look to stack a second consecutive win when they host the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday night.
The Lakers are fresh off of a 141-116 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night, which was notable because it was the second night of a back-to-back for the team, and star forward LeBron James played in both legs of the b2b for the first time all season.
LeBron James will play vs. Hornets on Thursday night
After playing in two games in two nights, there was some speculation about James’ availability for the game against Charlotte, but the future Hall-of-Famer will be good to go.
James is not listed on the official injury report for the game against Charlotte, indicating that he will be out on the floor with his teammates.
On the season, James has played in 21 games for the Lakers and posted averages of 22.4 points, 6.9 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 33.2 minutes per performance.
The matchup between L.A. And Charlotte will be the second of the season, as the Lakers bested the Hornets, 121-11, back in November. James didn't play in that game as he was sidelined with sciatica, but star guard Luka Doncic dropped 38 points to power the Lakers to a victory.
