On Tuesday, LeBron James took the court for the Los Angeles Lakers in his first game of the 2025-26 season.
In his first game back, it was clear that the King was coming back a bit rusty. It seemed as if the first quarter was more of a feeling-out process for James.
Once the second quarter rolled around, it looked like LeBron was starting to get more comfortable. After scoring no points in the first, he scored seven points in the second, including two 3-pointers.

At this point in his career, not many people are shocked by James' accolades. It's a case of record-breaking fatigue.
We've seen him become the youngest and oldest to do just about everything in the NBA, including becoming the league's all-time points leader. On Tuesday, he added yet another notch to his impressive belt of accomplishments.
In his first game back from injury, LeBron passed Reggie Miller for sixth all-time in career 3-pointers with 2,561.

For a player whose only flaw early in his career was shooting the 3-ball, it's truly astounding to see the growth he's shown in that aspect over the course of the last seven to 10 years of his career.
While he was at it, he also continued his ridiculous streak of games scoring 10-plus points in the 3rd quarter.
This won't be the last time he passes an all-time great or Hall of Famer on an all-time statistics list, but these moments are running low. Enjoy him while we have him.
