In his first game back, it was clear that the King was coming back a bit rusty. It seemed as if the first quarter was more of a feeling-out process for James.
Once the second quarter rolled around, it looked like LeBron was starting to get more comfortable. After scoring no points in the first, LeBron scored seven points in the second, including two three-pointers.
LeBron James climbing leaderboards in Year-23
At this point in his career, not many people are shocked by James' accolades. It's a case of 'record-breaking' fatigue.
We've seen him become the youngest and oldest to do just about everything in the NBA, including becoming the league's all-time points leader. Tonight, he added yet another notch to his impressive belt of accomplishments.
In his first game back from injury, LeBron passed Reggie Miller for 5th all-time in career three-pointers with 2,561.
For a player whose only flaw early in his career was shooting the three-ball, it's truly astounding to see the growth he's shown in that aspect over the course of the last seven to ten years of his career.
While he was at it, he also continued his ridiculous streak of games scoring 10+ points in the 3rd quarter.
This won't be the last time he passes an all-time great or hall of fame on an all-time statistics list, but these moments are running low. Enjoy him while we have him.
