LeBron James makes history in Tuesday night's win against Jazz image

The Los Angeles Lakers had been without LeBron James to start this season, as he was dealing with a sciatica nerve injury.

James returned to action as expected,  in mid-November, and suited up for the Lakers for the first time this season Tuesday night against the Utah Jazz.

In this game, James broke yet another record.

In their 140-126 victory over the Jazz, James became the first ever player to play 23 seasons in the NBA, breaking his tie with Vince Carter at 22.

James logged 30 minutes in his return to action, showing no signs of being on a minute restriction.

James may have taken extra time to prepare to play without a minute restriction.

He has expressed his disdain for them in the past.

James was able to continue his streak of games played with 10+ points, as he finished with 11.

He also added 12 assists and four rebounds.

That makes his current streak at 1,293 straight games with 10+ points.

The last time he scored less than 10 in a game was in 2007, 18 years ago.

James was able to suit up for his 23rd season on Tuesday, which, of course, is a remarkable record, but don’t be surprised when he breaks the record again next season.

He has no signs of slowing down or even retiring, so he will likely add on to that record for at least another year.
