LeBron James didn't score 10 points in his last game. It was the first time in 1,297 games he hadn't reached that mark.

On Sunday night, when the Los Angeles Lakers needed him, James didn't just score 10 points. He scored 10 points in a row.

And thanks to the late surge from the King, the Lakers held off the Philadelphia 76ers.

James hit four jump shots consecutively.

It was a long 2, then a 3, then another 3, then a pull-up 2.

He clearly was enjoying himself.

It's an absolutely amazing testament to what James is still capable of.

This dude is 40 years old. He'll turn 41 in three-plus weeks.

He's missed a bunch of this season with a pair of injuries. Slowly but surely, James' body seems to be letting him down.

But when the Lakers needed him, LeBron was still royalty.

The King is the King until he gives his crown up, and he hasn't given up anything yet.
