The Los Angeles Lakers have been fortunate enough to have LeBron James playing for them for the last seven years.
After a disappointing end to this past season, frustrations could grow wi thin the organization and James could be on his way out.
After dealing with the Dallas Mavericks during the middle of last season, Bleacher Report’s Dan Favale believes they could do it again.
“Lakers insider Jovan Buha said during a recent episode of Buha’s Block (at the 9:40 mark) that there has previously been legs to the Dallas Mavericks’ interest in reuniting LeBron James with Kyrie Irving,” Favale said on Wednesday.
“This feeling could increase now that they also have Anthony Davis, another former LeBron teammate whom the King sounded like he missed after Los Angeles got bounced from the playoffs.”
“In this framework, the Lakers would be getting a smattering of playable talents to deepen their rotation, all of whom have experience operating alongside Luka Dončić.”

In this hypothetical, the proposed trade would involve three teams.
The Lakers, Mavericks, and Utah Jazz.
The Mavericks would receive solely LeBron James while the Lakers would get Kyle Anderson, Daniel Gafford, Naji Marshall, Klay Thompson, P.J. Washington, and a 2029 first-round pick (their own, via Dallas).
Utah gets involved by reclaiming Jarred Vanderbilt, Philadelphia 76ers' 2030 second-round pick (via Dallas), and Dallas' 2032 second-round pick.
We have already seen a plethora of LeBron teammates in Dallas currently, with Davis, Irving, and recently signed Deangelo Russell.
If Dallas and Los Angeles could come to an agreement, this would be the second time these two organizations have shocked the world in less than a year.
