Bronny James is seeing some action in the G League as LeBron's son continues to work on his development.

On Sunday, Bronny got to match up with a former NBA All-Star, and he played very well.

The matchup for Bronny with the South Bay Lakers was against the Wisconsin Herd, who feature Victor Oladipo.

Oladipo, another athletically gifted guard, is past his prime and was never quite the same after multiple major injuries, but he's still got an impressive basketball pedigree.

Bronny finished the night with:

  • 15 points
  • 5 assists
  • 3 rebounds
  • 6-13 FG

Maybe the most impressive and encouraging part of those highlights is Bronny's jump shooting.

He's regarded as a solid defender and athlete, but his handle and shot have both been in question, and at his size, he needs to have at least one of those to make it in the NBA.

Multiple 3-pointers in rhythm show that Bronny is starting to develop that part of his game.

Skeptics will continue to doubt Bronny, especially while he spends time in the G League, but it may indeed be the best path for him to make the necessary improvements to last in the NBA.
