Jake LaRavia had his defining moment for the Los Angeles Lakers when he erupted for 27 points in a dramatic win over the Minnesota Timberwolves last week.

But what truly made him a talking point around the league was Anthony Edwards.

As LaRavia was lighting up the Timberwolves, a Minnesota fan yelled, “Who is No. 12?” That prompted a hilarious response from Edwards, who was sitting on the bench and watching the matchup while in street clothes.

"That's what I'm saying," said Edwards. "I don't know!"

Edwards’ remarks were captured by the Timberwolves’ local television broadcast, ultimately becoming an instant gem online, especially among Lakers faithful.

Following the Lakers' 130-120 victory over the Miami Heat on Sunday, LaRavia addressed the viral moment and admitted that he even found it funny.

“I kind of put my hands up and kind of agreed with them like, ‘Who’s No. 12?’ I kind of played into it a little bit,” a smiling LaRavia said postgame

“I find that kind of stuff funny, because I am not well known at this moment, so I’ll just, you know, head down, working hard. That’s all I do.”

LaRavia went off for the Lakers again on Sunday, dropping an efficient 25 markers with eight boards and four steals to outlast the Heat. His two-way play helped LA improve to 5-2 on the back of a three-game winning streak.

As the team's low-key free agency acquisition from the past offseason, LaRavia will continue to make a name for himself as he and the Lakers get off to a solid start.

“I think that's good,” LaRavia added about the viral clip. “Shout out to Anthony Edwards for allowing that clip to go viral. I think it's good. I think it's funny."
