The Los Angeles Lakers always find themselves in a position to land some of the craziest names in the league.
In this case, it is no different with this nine-time All-Star searching for his next team.
The Milwaukee Bucks recently parted ways with Damian Lillard, allowing him a rare opportunity to select his next team while Milwaukee continues to sign hefty paychecks.
SBNation's Ricky O'Donnell provided predictions for 12 of the top free agents available, with a potential landing spot for all of them. The Lakers were the top spot for Lillard, fulfilling a long-standing homecoming for the California native.
“This is the hardest one to peg with Lillard out all season as he recovers from an Achilles tear. Let’s go Lakers to make all of those wild Photoshops come true a few years too late,” O’Donnell said Thursday.

The once 30 points per game scorer was predicted to land just a two-year, five-million-dollar contract from the Lakers.
After having his contract stretched by the Bucks, money wouldn’t be an issue, however, as he will now be paid a little over $22 million a year through the 2030 season.
Adding Lillard would make for some massive star power in Los Angeles, and it isn’t out of the realm of possibility if Lillard is searching for that ring before retirement.
Figuring out how to share the ball between Luka Dončić, LeBron James, and then Lillard would be difficult, but there is no arguing their offensive firepower would be impossible to contain.
