The Indiana Pacers are actually getting a little bit healthier.

Just two nights ago, T.J. McConnell returned to the floor for his season debut, playing 11 minutes against the Utah Jazz and scoring a rapid-fire 12 points.

The Pacers still have a crowded injury report for Thursday night's game against the Phoenix Suns.

The good news is that McConnell isn't on it and will play again as he works his way back up to full strength.

Indiana Pacers injury report

The Pacers still have six players listed as out for the Thursday night matchup with the Suns.

These are the six absences:

  • Johnny Furphy (left ankle sprain)
  • Tyrese Haliburton (torn right Achilles)
  • Quenton Jackson (right hamstring strain)
  • Kam Jones (lower back stress reaction)
  • Bennedict Mathurin (right great toe sprain)
  • Obi Toppin (right foot stress fracture)

A couple of those are known long-term absences.

The injuries to Mathurin and Toppin are more recent.

The Pacers are just 1-10 and aren't in a position to be rushing players back onto the floor.

At this point, they're already quite used to playing shorthanded. And they'll do it again against the Suns.
