Aaron Nesmith has been one of the main reasons that Indiana is up 3-1 right now.

Tyrese Haliburton has been the notable leader on this team, but Nesmith's value, especially in Game 1, was a momentum changer for the whole series.

If the playoffs ended today, Nesmith would have an impressive NBA postseason record that the greats couldn't even come close to.

What record would Nesmith have?

If the playoffs ended today, Aaron Nesmith would set the record for the highest 3P% in a playoff run with at least 40 made threes, at 51.9 3P%.

This sounds like one of those obscure stats, but if you think about it, it's just measuring a player who was extremely efficient on high volume in a playoff run.

Nesmith's current 3P% is 1.3% more than Seth Curry, who had a 50.6 3P% in the 21-22 playoffs.

Other names following Seth Curry on the list include JR Smith, Desmond Bane, Danny Green, Al Horford and Ray Allen.

Nesmith shot 8/9 from three-point range in Game 1, including a heater in the fourth quarter to force overtime.

Nesmith has only shot 5/12 since Game 1 from three-point range, but that's still 41.7 3P%.

The Pacers will look to clinch a spot in the NBA Finals with a win Thursday night in New York.
