The Houston Rockets are entering into a bit of a key Western Conference stretch.
On Monday night, they take on the Phoenix Suns. And then on Wednesday, they play at the Golden State Warriors.
It's still early in the season, but they'd feel a lot better going into Thanksgiving with a couple of wins rather than a couple of losses.
To get that done, they'll have to handle playing shorthanded, without one of the best scorers of all time.
Kevin Durant won't be out on the floor.
Is KD playing tonight?
No, Kevin Durant isn't playing on Monday night against the Suns.
He's also been ruled out already for Wednesday night's matchup with the Warriors.
Why isn't Kevin Durant playing tonight?
Durant is out on Monday against the Suns and Wednesday against the Warriors for personal reasons.
More information has not been provided on the personal situation for KD.
Durant is averaging 24.6 points per game this season with 4.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists. He's shooting 48.5% from the floor and 36.4% from 3-point range.
