Steph Curry's injury marks a first for Warriors' NBA career.

Warriors made Steph Curry injury history for the first time in his NBA career image

The Golden State Warriors have now played 246 games without Stephen Curry since he entered the league in 2009.

On Sunday night, they did something they'd never done before in a game without Curry.

They won by 30 points.

In this case, 31 points. The Warriors topped the remarkably shorthanded Indiana Pacers, 114-83.

Multiple social media accounts shared this feat, including WarriorsMuse with a nice chart:

Of course, there are a couple things working against this.

First, it's hard to win games by 30 or more points. That's a big margin.

And second, without Curry, it gets exponentially harder to do such a thing. Curry is a transcendent player, and for most of his career, the Warriors have been built distinctly around him. When he's not out there, everything changes.

Golden State has also made a trend in recent years of sitting some of its other stars when Curry sits, too, although that wasn't the case Sunday night.

In the end, it's more of a quirky stat than anything else. But the Warriors would gladly welcome Curry back from his illness, with the hope being he's back out there on Tuesday night against the Thunder.
