This week, the Warriors made some noise after they made final decisions on several players for next season.

They re-signed De'Anthony Melton and were finally able to come to terms on a deal with restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga, after months of negotiations.

They also brought in former NBA champion Al Horford, who is expected to play a large role with the team as one of their major frontcourt players.

That role could take a decent step back if the Warriors were able to follow through on acquiring a multi-time all-star whom they have recently been linked to in rumors.

Golden State has made some notable roster moves since this time last year.

Their big mid-season acquisition was Jimmy Butler, whom they traded for during this past season's trade deadline.

It worked out well to start, but Butler and the Warriors had their season come to an end after a Steph Curry injury created a difficult roadblock for the team in their second-round series against the Timberwolves.

Going out to get Horford could end up being a great move for a team looking to get as much juice out of the Curry era as they can, but it could go even a step further with one move.

NBA insider Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints reported, "Bam Adebayo is another All-Star in the East who would be at the top of the Warriors' list of potential trade targets if he were to ever request a trade from the Miami Heat, sources said."

Not only would this elevate a talented Warriors roster, but it would reunite Jimmy Butler with his teammate from Miami. The former teammates played in two NBA Finals during their time together with the Heat.

Adebayo is one of the best centers in the league, so it would require a significant return, assuming Miami would even get to the point of making him available.

Although Kuminga and the Warriors agreed to a deal before the start of this season, that doesn't mean he is guaranteed to stay with the franchise for an extended period of time.

Should a player like Adebayo become available, Kuminga would make sense to be a major player involved in a hypothetical deal to bring Adebayo to 'The Bay.'
