The Golden State Warriors are now trailing the Minnesota Timberwolves 2-1 in the Western Conference Semifinal round. The Warriors took Game 1 before Stephen Curry suffered an injury in Game 2 and has not played since.
Beating the Timberwolves without Cury is a difficult task, and the Warriors are hoping Curry comes back at some point. The initial timeline said one week, putting a potential return on the map for Game 6, if the series goes that far.
Moreover, Anthony Slater of The Athletic gave an update on Curry's progress.
"Curry didn't push it to full speed, according to a team source,” Slater wrote. "He's yet to burst or cut or test that left hamstring...But he went through a medium-speed shooting routine and rode the stationary bike. This was a notable advancement for Curry in his race against time.”
But, the Game 6 timeframe might be realistic. A clip surfaced from Game 3 of Gary Payton II and Anthony Edwards having an exchange with each other.
Edwards told Payton the Warriors were "trying to get" Curry back for Game 6, and Payton uttered four words: "That is the plan."
Anthony Edwards: "Y'all trying to get to Game 6. Get Wardell [Steph Curry] back."

Gary Payton II: "That is the plan."
Ant: "I already know." 😂

It was quite the exchange, and the one-week timeframe has always been a possibility for the Warriors star. Game 4 is on Monday night, and Game 6 wouldn't be until Friday, if the series goes that far, so this will be something to monitor.
