Jonathan Kuminga and the Golden State Warriors don't seem to have much longer left in their time together.

That is, if the Warriors can find a trade partner for the talented wing who wants out of town.

Golden State general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. Thinks it might be easier said than done.

This is what he told reporters on Tuesday about Kuminga's trade request:

"When you make a demand, there needs to be a demand."

In essence, he's saying the Warriors can't trade Kuminga if no one wants him.

It seems likely that there are teams out there that would gladly take Kuminga on the cheap. But would anyone pay a fair price to the Warriors? Maybe not so much.

Kuminga became eligible to be traded on Jan. 15 after signing a two-year deal as a restricted free agent in the offseason to stay in Golden State, with a possible trade down the road always assumed as a likely outcome.

Kuminga has not played in a game for the Warriors since Dec. 18.

There was thought of him being moved in the offseason, but that didn't happen.

Then when this campaign got underway, Kuminga was starting and playing well for about a month.

But then, he started to fall out of the rotation, and he's now out of it entirely.

Kuminga is still just 23. There has to be some kind of demand.

But maybe it isn't that high, and that could make pulling off a trade a bit more problematic for all involved.
